Xbox Game Pass Quests are now available in six additional countries

The feature's now live in Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, and Mexico.

Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass Quests feature has rolled out to six more countries: Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, and Mexico.

Microsoft's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb made the announcement via his Twitter account, inviting players from the newly-added countries to "browse quests, track your progress, and discover your next favorite game with the Xbox Game Pass mobile app".

Up until now, the feature - which rewards players with Microsoft points for a selection of activities across the games in the Xbox Game Pass catalogue - had only been available in Brazil, Canada, Singapore, the UK and the US. Now players across six more countries can also grab bonus points for activities such as unlocking the 'Kill the Beast' achievement in the Villagers & Pillagers update of Minecraft, or completing any achievement in a Game Pass title that was added last month.

Naturally, you need to be a Microsoft Rewards member and have a live Xbox Game Pass subscription to participate, but players who do so can redeem their Microsoft Rewards point against a number of things across the Xbox store, including gift cards and in-game content, "games, devices, films, apps, accessories, and more".

Microsoft's Major Nelson was in the news for a different reason yesterday after he accidentally revealed the next DLC character for Dragon Ball FighterZ is Janemba.

During the latest episode of This Week on Xbox, Hryb casually mentioned skins for GT Goku and Janemba for Arc System Works' fighting game, but at the time Bandai Namco had not formally revealed who the fourth and final character would be.
