Aurora World adds a touch of sparkle to its portfolio for Asia Pacific

Aurora World will highlight four ranges of children’s products at next month’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference in Singapore (Basement 2 G6).

The plush toy specialist will also feature a new stand for its core YooHoo characters.

Sparkle Tales features unicorns and dragons, with glittery hooves and horns, in a range of bright pastel colours. The soft toys are available in 18cm and 30cm sizes. Retail prices range from US$17 to US$28, with a promotional/jumbo size also available for US$99.

Fancy Pals for fancy gals: Three new Peek-A-Boo characters join the pet-in-a-bag range

Three new designs, Peek-A-Boo Puppy, Peek-A-Boo Kitty and Peek-A-Boo Husky, join the 12 pet-in-a-bag Fancy Pals characters, which retail at US$22.

Tokidoki offers apparel, handbags, cosmetics and accessories and, according to Aurora World, has a large global following. The brand’s cult status has led to collaborations with Karl Lagerfield, LeSportsac, Hello Kitty, Fujitsu, Levi’s, Smashbox Cosmetics, Xbox and others. Aurora presents the Tokidoki Plush range, featuring on-trend unicorns and mermaids, in keychains and toys. The soft toys are available in 20cm and 30cm sizes; retail prices range from US$9 to US$35.

Sea Sparkles mermaids: “A perfect gifting opportunity for young girls”

Sea Sparkles, one of Aurora’s best-sellers, offers a range of 50 colourful mermaids, from 17cm backpack clips to 46cm toys. Prices range from US$10 to US$20.

The new merchandising unit for Aurora’s YooHoo toys is designed to encourage impulse sales. It holds 20 characters and measures 1.45m x 0.6m.

Aurora World Travel Retail Sales Manager Garry Stoner said: “Broadly speaking, Aurora World is performing well in Asia. In 2017 we saw a +42.6% sales increase compared to the year before and, from the figures we have gathered from this year already, we anticipate this upward curve to continue throughout this year and into the next.

“This will be our second time exhibiting at the TFWA Asia Pacific show and we very much look forward to building on the success we achieved last year as a first time exhibitor.”
