Bermuda Motorsports Hall of fame announces class of 2025
The Bermuda Motorsports Hall of Fame has announced 14 races in its class of 2025.
Larry Robinson, Charles “Chucky” Renaud, Brian Willis, Carl Soares and Fritz Reiter have been chosen by the Bermuda Powerboat Association.
The Bermuda Motocross Association will induct Sinclair “Mini” Gilbert, Cyril “Big” Smith, Otis Ingham and William Ziepniewski, with the Bermuda Karting Association choosing David Barbosa and Michael Corrado
Shannon Caisey and Dennis “Chicken” Wilson will represent the Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Association.
“We are honoured to celebrate these individuals for their hard work, dedication, and passion for motorsports,” the Hall of Fame committee said in a statement.
“Congratulations to this year’s inductee class and we look forward to the community coming together to join us in honouring their contributions.
“It is the goal of the executive committee to one day have the government of Bermuda recognize the Bermuda Motorsports Hall of Fame as part of the official Bermuda Sports Hall of Fame, further acknowledging the contributions of the island’s motorsporting community to Bermuda’s sporting history.”
