The date has been revealed for the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase for 2025. The showcase will highlight the biggest upcoming games in 2025 and beyond and has pretty much replaced the traditional E3 slot as far as hype for future projects is concerned. But that’s not all.
Alongside this Xbox Games Showcase, we’ll get The Outer Worlds 2 Direct immediately after the main showcase, which will dive deeper into the game’s upcoming mechanics and features in more detail. While we don’t have a specific release date for it just yet, it is preparing to be one of the more prominent games for the remainder of 2025.
While we don’t know exactly what we’ll see at the Xbox Games Showcase, we feel confident that Xbox and Microsoft will put their latest acquisitions to work and focus once again on the games and franchises that we’ve been waiting to return to. Gears of War: E-Day, we’re once again looking at you.
The Xbox Games Showcase and The Outer Worlds 2 Direct will take place on Monday, the 9th of June.
