Sometimes a routine shopping trip can lead to meeting someone special, just ask The Golden Bachelor’s Susan Noles.

The Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour podcast cohost, 67, tells PEOPLE she’s been out on a couple of dates with a man she met at Marshalls.

“He bought a new home and he was going to get some things he needed, and he asked to take a selfie,” Noles, who lives in the Philadelphia area, explains. “I can't go grocery shopping without somebody recognizing [me]. And this is Philly, the City of Brotherly Love. We all know everybody here.”

Noles’ Golden Hour cohost Kathy Swarts hypes her up as the “perfect person” whom any man would be lucky to date. “Susan loves to cook, she loves to clean, she likes to shop — all you guys out there, check her out!” Swarts, 70, tells PEOPLE.

Noles also has another man on her mind: Bradley Cooper, whom she met recently in Las Vegas and would love to have on Golden Hour. The Oscar-nominated actor, 49, happens to be a big Golden Bachelor fan.

“He was a huge fan and he had a million questions,” Noles reveals. “He said he never missed a show.”

Noles would also like to see her “second heartthrob” Matthew McConaughey stop by the podcast.

“Matthew, if you're listening, you and I live about three miles apart,” Swarts, who lives in Austin, says. “We won't embarrass you!”

Noles adds, “We just want to talk, that's all.”

While Noles continues getting to know the man she met at Marshalls, she teases that she’d be open to going on the upcoming inaugural season of The Golden Bachelorette with Swarts. “I hope we get called back and go give some advice,” the wedding officiant says.

Hometowns are on the horizon for the golden bachelor. With only three roses remaining, the final six women face the possibility that their fairy tale with Gerry Turner may not have a happy ending, and Gerry must make his toughest decisions yet. THURSDAY, OCT. 26

As for Swarts, “I want all the rejects,” she jokes of men the unnamed Golden Bachelorette dumps. “I'm willing to take sloppy seconds.”

But Noles and Swarts wouldn’t consider a run on a theoretical Golden Bachelor in Paradise, since Noles says they require “air conditioning and no bugs.”

Ultimately, The Golden Bachelor has shown viewers that love can be found at any age, a subject Noles and Swarts frequently discuss on their podcast.

“People used to feel invisible,” Swarts says. “You turn 50 or 60 or 70 and no one cares what you look like, what you think. And we are single-handedly changing that. We want people to know that life is not over.”

Accordingly, Swarts encourages her peers to “get up off the sofa.”

“We have the platform to tell people that and give them the courage to live their life or begin living their life over,” she continues. “I think that's what people our age need to hear.”

On their journeys to find love, Noles and Swarts found something equally special: friendship.

“We became very, very important in each other's lives,” Noles says. “And we're here to celebrate life.”

Swarts shares that Noles has definitely influenced her in a few ways. “Susan shops for me,” Swarts says. “When we're not doing our podcast, Susan is telling me what I need to buy. We went shopping and I bought my first luxury handbag. Susan had to pull the credit card out of my hand.”

Noles’s love of cooking also comes in handy when “I can't decide what I want to eat for dinner,” Swarts says.

Noles chimes in, “That's my job!”

Although they don’t always see eye to eye while tackling listeners’ questions on their iHeartRadio podcast, Noles and Swarts want to keep making their fans feel seen.

“We've made so many people feel better,” Noles says, “and that's what it's about.”
