Norris - who murdered the 18-year-old in a cold-blooded 1993 race attack as he waited for a bus in Eltham, South East London - shows off a gold watch, designer clothing, TV and an Xbox in the pictures.

Choking up on ITV news after the pictures emerged, Neville Lawrence said: "What I read today, I can't believe it.

"It's unbearable to think that is somebody who is as far as I'm concerned is the worst person in the world because he destroyed my life completely.

"You know, he is living a better life than I am and I haven't done anything wrong.

"My son is turning in the grave to hear what this man is doing."

Norris also used the smartphone to boastfully text friends and watch videos from inside his gilded lockup.

He even sent WhatsApp messages slamming former Justice Secretary Dominic Raab, who hit the breaks on a bid by Norris to move to an open prison earlier this year.

Norris, due to apply for parole in 2024 or 2025, said: “Dom Raab your f****** c*** cos the Nozza is defo home in 2 [years] and High Court now agrees.

"Get that party sorted girls cos I be there soon.”

The killer, who got a minimum 14 years in 2012, now faces a probe for the phone - a rule breach - which could mean an extra two years’ jail.

Mr Lawrence pleaded for harsher action to be taken on lags and said he was "disgusted" those in authority allow prisoners like Norris to get away with such antics behind bars.

He slammed: "When you do something wrong, and you go to prison, you should pay for what you do.

"He is not paying for it, he is living the life he wouldn't be living if he was out here."

A source said Norris allegedly told inmates at his Devon lockup he did knife Stephen but he has never formally admitted this.

It took nearly twenty years for anyone to be brought to justice for Stephen's murder.

In February, Norris was "incensed" after being transferred from Cat-B HMP Garth, Lancs, to Dartmoor, when deemed a lower-risk inmate.

Stephen is buried in Jamaica.
