WWE NXT UK will takeover Blackpool this weekend, as the brand continues to go from strength-to-strength.

It will be the first event promoted under the NXT UK TakeOver chronology.

There are plenty of Birmingham and Black Country faces to see - and fans can't wait to watch the action unfold.

WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne goes head-to-head with Joe Coffey, as the longest reigning titleholder in all of WWE faces the linchpin of Scottish faction Gallus.

Bruiserweight Dunne, from Birmingham, beat Black Country boy Tyler Bate for the title in May 2017.

The pair put on a show-stealing bout at NXT TakeOver: Chicago - and now Bate himself teams with Black Country pal Trent Seven to take on Coffey's brother Mark and Wolfgang in Blackpool.

Elsewhere, Dave Mastiff and Eddie Dennis will go to war in a No Disqualification match, as the Black Country Beast and the 6ft 6in Welsh brawler look to raise hell.

When is NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool?

NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool will be broadcast live from the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool, Lancashire on Saturday, January 12.

It gets underway from 7pm local time.

A Kickoff pre-show will air at 6.30pm.

This is likely to feature the likes of NXT UK general manager Johnny Saint, assistant general manager Sid Scala, commentary team Nigel McGuinness and Vic Joseph and interviewer Radzi Chinyanganya.
