GTA 5 Online servers are experiencing issues this evening as Rockstar comfirm a limited services for PS4, Xbox One, PC and legacy consoles.

The issues started around 4pm GMT with Down Detector registering a spike of 500 reports indicating reports of services not working properly.

The Rockstar support page currently shows that the game is has "limited" service across all platforms.

"Why can i not play gta online? It says files required to play GTA Online could not be downloaded from the rockstar games service. Someone help please" one player complained on Twitter.

"@RockstarSupport when am i going to be able to go back Gta online, first it said "Rockstar Game Services are currently unavaible". It then said that it could not access the cloud servers" another wrote.

So far the Rockstar Support Twitter account has yet to address the issues with the game problems, but reports of server problems continue to rise.

Such is the size and popularity of the game that this is impacting players in UK, Europe and some parts of the United States and generally all across the world in patches.
