Call of Duty WW2 Release Date COUNTDOWN: PS4, Xbox One, PC Start Times

Call of Duty is still being rolled out across the world, one timezone at a time, with the game already live in New Zealand, Australia and Japan.

Us Brits will have to wait until midnight before we can begin playing.

Once you're in though, if you are one of the many people who played pre-ordered the game and played the Private Beta you should be able to acquire your Private Beta Combat Pack.

Equally you can also grab the Multiplayer Upgrade pre-order bonus, which gives players up to 4 hours of Double XP and 1 free weapon upgrade.

To attain these bonuses, you'll need to visit the Headquarters Mail area to pick these bonuses up.

Yet another country can now access Call of Duty: World War 2 as the time restrictions lift around the globe.

The third place you can play the game is in Japan.

If you own the game in the Japanese region, you can now access the game on console.

Bear in mind that PC times are different to console unlock times - you can read more about that in the paragraphs below.

The Call of Duty WW2 release date is finally upon us and with the Friday, November 3 launch only a couple of hours away.

However, before players are able to get started they will in all likelihood have to download a day one patch, first.

So if you're playing on PS4, Xbox One or PC, ensure you have room for a 9GB update before you're able to jump into the game.

Servers are already live, ready and waiting for players to get started the second the game launches.

This was confirmed by a number of gamers around the world who managed to get a copy of the game early and had started posting leaks around the web.

This means that players on Microsoft's Xbox One and Sony's PS4 who pre-ordered digitally are simply waiting for the go-ahead from both consoles to get started.

The game will be playable starting midnight local time (unless you live in NA. The game in North America unlocks at midnight ET)

However, the release time for players on PC and steam are slightly different.

So, stay tuned as it's possible there could be a few issues with updates and server problems with the multiplayer portion of the game.

This isn't the only news from the past week though, as the team has also revealed during a Paris Games Week stream, also announced Call of Duty: WWII The Resistance DLC Pack 1 which is out January 30 on PS4.

It will eventually come to other platforms, but only after the 30 day exclusivity window has finished.

The first teaser video was also released showing that there are 3 MP Maps in 3 new locations, a new War map, and 1 new Zombies map, which you can see above.
