Xbox One X Console Controller Front Tilt Top

For a while we have been hearing that Microsoft will be bringing keyboard and mouse support to the Xbox platform, and just several months ago, Microsoft confirmed that they were still working on it. However could it be that support for keyboard and mouse could be coming sooner than we think?

According to publication Gamer Professionals, it seems that Microsoft Poland’s website has mentioned keyboard and mouse support on its blog (the page has since been taken down, link is to the archived version). Presumably the post might have went live before Microsoft had intended for it, but it could be a sign that we’re getting closer to launch.

Based on the translation via Google Translate, the portion of the blog reads, “Some players prefer to conquer the virtual world with a pad in hand. Others, above all, value the precision of the mouse movements. Others, however, can not imagine playing on anything other than a keyboard. Now, owners of Xbox One consoles (including Xbox One S models and the latest Xbox One X) can choose these accessories and decide for themselves what they will use. ‘PC Master Race’? Thanks to the keyboard support, we can already successfully talk about ‘Xbox Master Race’!”

We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more information, but hopefully support for keyboard and mouse could see a launch by the end of 2017.
