Havana, April 9 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel and his Honduran counterpart Xiomara Castro affirmed the current relationship of solidarity between their nations.
During the meeting between Diaz-Canel and Castro, in the sidelines of the 9th Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) held in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, the Cuban head of state congratulated the Honduran President for the results obtained as rotatory chair of CELAC and for the organization of the event.
The two heads of state stressed the advancement of bilateral relations for the welfare of their peoples, according to the Cuban Presidency.
Diaz-Canel arrived in Honduras on Tuesday in his first visit to that nation heading a delegation to the Summit, which also includes Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez and ambassador Juan Roberto Loforte.
